Khatu Shyam Ji Temple is a famous Hindu temple located in Khatu village in Sikar district of Rajasthan state of India.
According to local belief, Barbarika voluntarily offered his head to Lord Krishna before participating in the battle. Lord Krishna then blessed Barbarika that in the future he would be worshipped as Khatushyam in the village of Khatu and that anyone seeking his blessings would never have to return empty-handed.
Khatu Shyam Ji is worshipped as an important deity in Hinduism. He is often addressed by names such as “Shyam Baba”, “Hare Ka Sahara”, and “Avatar of Kaliyuga”.
