Itinerary:

Day 1: Srinagar

Receiving of guests from Srinagar airport, drive to hotel

Have some rest.

Then, go to camp for Amarnath Yatra Registration

If time permits, you can spend your evening enjoying the Shikara ride at the world famous Dal Lake

Dinner & overnight stay at hotel

Day 2: Srinagar/ Sonmarg

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Sonmarg ( 80 kms – 2 hours journey ). The ride from Srinagar to Sonmarg is a beautiful one.

On reaching Sonmarg, check in to hotel

Have some rest

Sonmarg also called Meadow of Gold is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.

Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg

Day 3: Baba Amarnath Shrine

Breakfast at hotel, drive to Baltal ( 14 kms drive )

From Baltal ( approx 14 kms trek to the Amarnath cave ), you can either walk or take a pony to the baba amarnath cave temple.

After darshan, overnight stay at Panchtarni

Day 4: Sonmarg

Today, after seeking blessings of Amarnath baba, drive back to Sonmarg. Today is for you to rest.

Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.

Day 5: Sonmarg/ Srinagar

Breakfast at hotel

Drive to Srinagar to take the return flight to your hometown
