Every year, the dates of opening of chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is announced on the holy occasion of Vasant Panchali. After a long Pooja and discussion amongst the temple’s committee members, the date is decided. For the year 2025, the spiritual chardham Yatra will begin on 30th April.
Traditionally, the temples open on the holy occasion of Akshaya Tritya every year. This year Akshaya Tritya falls on 30th April. Hence, the Yamunotri temple and Gangotri temple will open on 30th April, 2025.
The opening date of Badrinath Dham ( temple ) has also been announced on Vasant Panchami ( 2nd February, 2025 ). This year the Badrinath temple will open on 4th May, 2025.
Last but not the least, The most anticipated news regarding the opening date of Kedarnath Temple is yet to be announced. The date will be announced on the holy occasion of Maha Shivratri which is on 26th February, 2025.

In the year 2025, the temple will open on the auspicious day of ‘ Akshaya Tritya ‘ which is on 30th April, 2025.
The temple will close on the festival of Diwali which falls on 20th October, 2025.

Gangotri Dham Opening and Closing Dates 2025
Gangotri Yatra or the spiritual tour to the Gangotri temple is the pilgrimage tour to one of the four prominent Dhams ( shrines ) of chota Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand state of India. Gangotri temple is the adobe of goddess Ganga. The temple is located at the foothills of Gangotri glacier from where the river Ganga originates.

Badrinath Temple Opening and Closing Dates 2025
Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple lies in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand. It is believed that this is the place where Lord Vishnu is continuously meditating.
