At an elevation of approximately 15,000 feet, it is perched amidst the Himalayan mountains. Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib is the world’s highest Sikh temple, situated at a height of 15000 feet. The Gurudwara is accessible only from May – October every year.
ITINERARY:
Day 1: Dehradun
Receiving of guests from Dehradun Airport/ railway station by private ac car or we can provide cab from Delhi to Dehradun if you reaching Delhi.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel at Dehradun.
Day 2: Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib

0600 hours : Hotel cab will drive you to the Sahastradhara Helipad
On reaching the helipad, you will be given your boarding passes after checking your weight. ( Note: extra charges will be taken if your weight exceeds a set limit )
A shuttle service flight will take you to the Ghangaria helipad from Dehradun.
Our crew / team members will receive the guests at Ghangaria and will take you towards the Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib.
The Gurudwara is at a distance of 6 km from the Ghangaria Helipad. It is strongly advised that you hire a pony or a palki for this 6 km trek because Hemkund Sahib is at a very high altitude (15,200 feet).
Guests should start their return journey to Ghangaria by 12:30 p.m. after Darshan.
In totality, a 4- 5 hour time will be taken to complete the darshan and reach back at Ghangaria from where you will take the flight back to sahastradhara Helipad.
On reaching back, the driver will take you back to the hotel

Terms & Conditions:
- Passengers have to mandatorily follow the government prescribed measures in regards to COVID-19. Without adhering to the same, boarding shall be denied without any refunds.
- Any increase in government levied taxes/royalties after the confirmation of booking, would be extra chargeable to the guests. Payment of any increase in government levied will be mandatory before the commencement of tour.
- Flying in hills are subject to many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traffic Clearances/Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), bad weather, sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the guests at the helipads, among others.
- Our company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party. Therefore, in your own interest, guests are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get medical check-up done, before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a guest has any medical suffering/condition.
- Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony charges shall be borne by the guests.
- Carriage of dangerous goods/articles is not permitted. Restricted articles includes compressed gases/corrosives/explosives/flammable liquids/solid/radio-active materials/infectious substances and briefcases with installed alarm devices.
- Passengers travelling together may not travel in the same helicopter flight, as we may have to shuffle passengers in helicopter flights to manage the total weight of the aircraft.
➢ NO AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Aerial Photography from Helicopter is illegal & punishable by law and photography at the helipad is strictly prohibited.
➢ INFANTS
Infant below 2 years/12kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof/birth certificate of the child shall be checked.
➢ BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Only one baggage weighing a maximum of 5 kgs is allowed per passenger.
➢ HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMTATION
Passengers would be taken on board depending up on the load and temperature conditions. Pilots call will be final. Maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 450 kg (including baggage weight) at these destinations. All passengers on board must be within this limit. Hence, passengers are advised to provide us their exact weights at the time of booking and carry baggage within the permissible limit.
➢ BAD WEATHER/FORCE MAJEURE SITUATIONS POLICY
o In case Yatra gets cancelled/disturbed due to any force majeure, guests will be provided Credit Voucher from for the advance paid, which will be valid for one year from the initial date of travel. Please note, advance once paid will not be refunded, but it can be utilised in the next one year against our helicopter tours/charter services by availing the mentioned credit voucher.
o Where bad weather, technical snags or any force majeure reason beyond our control results in the cancellation of your flight being delayed or cancelled, we will not be liable in any way for the cancelled or delayed flight. However, refund will be given to clients as per our refunds policy. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals or any other travel expenses done by the guests shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
o After commencement of tour, if the aircraft has to return mid-way due to weather/force.
➢ PAYMENT TERM
The reservation must be made in advance and requires a 30% deposit. The balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before you arrive in Dehradun.
➢ REFUND POLICY
If passengers wish to cancel their booking, following refund Policy shall be applicable –
• If cancelled more than 30th days before the departure date — 70% of total tour cost.
• If cancelled between 30th to 20th day before departure date — 50% of total tour cost.
• If cancelled up to 20th day before the departure date — No Refund
➢ DISPUTES
The laws of the Delhi Jurisdiction will apply to any and all disputes regarding the legality, interpretation, application, or performance of the service or any of its terms and conditions.
