DO DHAM YATRA EX-DELHI SRI KEDARNATH JI AND SRI BADRINATH JI
DURATION: 8 DAYS-7 NIGHTS
ITINERARY: DELHI- HARIDWAR – GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH – BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG – RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR-DELHI
ATTRACTIONS: Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri- Haridwar, Gaurikund, Kedarnath Temple, Bhairav Baba Temple, Badrinath Temple, Mana Village (Last Indian Village), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Mata Murti temple, Koteshwar Temple, Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula along with Panch Prayags of Garhwal Himalayas: Vishnuprayag (Alaknanda River and Dhauliganga River), Nandprayag (Alaknanda River and Nandakini River), Karnprayag (Alaknanda River, and Pindar River), Rudraprayag (Alaknanda River and Mandakini River) & Devprayag (Alaknanda River and Bhagirathi River).
Day 1: Delhi – HARIDWAR (222 KM: 6 TO 7 HRS)Receiving of guests from New Delhi railway station/ airport, drive to Haridwar by private car (222 KM: 3 TO 4 hours journey ). On reaching at Haridwar, check in to your hotel. Take some rest. Evening visit to Har Ki Pauri to enjoy the surreal and the famous Ganga Aarti on the banks of Ganges. Sooth your eyes with the view of several floating dias in the Ganga river during the aarti. After attending the aarti, back to hotel. Dinner and night stay at hotel in Haridwar.
Day 2: HARIDWAR – GUPTKASHI (203 KM / 7 TO 8 HRS)After early morning breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and drive for Guptkashi. On reaching Guptkashi, check in to hotel.
Take some rest and then you can explore the beautiful town of Guptkashi.
From wherever you are, you can see the beautiful Himalayas and be prepared the beauty you are going to witness on the days ahead.
Dinner and night stay in hotel in Guptkashi.
Day 3: GUPTKASHI – SONPRAYAG – KEDARNATH (30 KM + 20 KM TREK)After early morning breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. Sonprayag is the starting point of your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). On the way, you will find hundreds of pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath” and motivating each other on the trek. While trekking you can witness the beautiful mandakini river flowing through the mountains.
On reaching the top, check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges. Dinner and Overnight at Govt. Camps/Lodges (only basic accommodation is available on sharing basis with only room basis, you can take meal directly).
Day 4: KEDARNATH – SONPRAYAG – GUPTKASHI (20 KM TREK + 30 KM DRIVE)Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Rudra Abhishek Puja’ to Kedarnath Shiva. You can go inside Garbha Griha and pay your respects and perform the puja with the help of a Pandit. After the darshan and puja, return to the Camps / Lodges. Later you can start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag.
Cabs will be waiting for you in Sonprayag Car Parking area and will drive you to your hotel in Guptkashi.
Dinner and Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 5: GUPTKASHI – JOSHIMATH – BADRINATH (200 KM: 7 TO 8 HRS)After breakfast, check out from hotel at 0800 hours and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some beautiful mountains and valleys you arrive at Badrinath.
On arrival at Badrinath check into the hotel.
After some rest you can go to the Shri Badrinath Ji Temple for darshan in the evening. you can also go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) in the temple premises, take bath and then go to the temple. The temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is approximately 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire.
After darshan,back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH – BIRAHI/RUDRAPRAYAG/SRINAGAR (92 KM: 3 HRS/165 KM: 5 TO 6 HRS/195 KM: 6 TO 7 HRS)After breakfast at hotel you can proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing. Visit Mana Village – the last village of India, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple.
Afternoon, drive back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag.
Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town, where the holy rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini meet.
On arrival check in to hotel. Rest of the day, you are free to explore the Rudraprayag town.

Day 7: BIRAHI/RUDRAPRAYAG/SRINAGAR – RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR (230 KM: 7 TO 8 HRS/ 165 KM: 5 TO 6 HRS/ 135 KM: 4 TO 5 HRS).
After early morning breakfast at hotel, drive downhill to Rishikesh -the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh, you can explore this spiritual city. You can visit the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.
Evening drive to Haridwar.
On arrival at Haridwar, check in to hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.
Day 8: HARIDWAR – DELHI (225 KM / 6 TO 7 HRS)Morning breakfast at hotel, and you are on your last lap of this Chardham Yatra journey. Drive back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi transfer to Railway Station/Airport.
