ITINERARY:

Day 1: Varanasi

Receiving of guests from Varanasi Airport/ railway station by Ac car. Drive to hotel.

Check in to the hotel

Have some rest.

In the evening, go for a boat ride, and witness all the Ghats of Varanasi. See the famous and divine Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat.

Day 2: Prayagraj

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Parayagraj ( 120 km – approx. 2 hours journey ). Prayagraj is a beautiful city located at the meeting point of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, called the Sangam.

On reaching Prayagraj, visit Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family’s old home, which is now a museum displaying numerous artifacts and items from the period of India’s independence campaign, Laying Hanuman Temple- it is an underground pit where you can see a huge image of Lord Hanuman in a lying posture. After this, you can go for boat ride in Triveni Sangam and capture the beautiful view of Allahabad Fort. The fort was built by Emperor Akbar, situated on the banks of the Yamuna near the meeting point with the river Ganges.

Day 3: Kasi Vishwanath Temple

After breakfast at hotel, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple – one of the 12 Jyotilinga, If you wish you can perform the ‘Rudra Abhishek Pooja’, Birla Mandir, Kaal Bhairav Temple. Today, you will have ample time to explore the streets of Banaras and enjoy the amazing street food that Banaras has to offer. Do not miss the Tomato chaat, aaloo puri, kachori, malaiyo, tea, blue lassi, etc. and last but not the least – the famous banarasi paan. You can also enjoy shopping the banarasi silk sarees from here.

Day 4: Sarnath

Morning visit to Aassi Ghat to enjoy sunrise. Come back to hotel for breakfast.

Later, proceed to Sarnath- a very important Buddhists pilgrimage because here Buddha gave his first sermon. Here we visit Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Museum- famous for the four headed lion that was once on top of the Ashoka Pillar, Tibetan Buddhist Monastery- The peaceful and traditional Monastery.

Day 5:

Breakfast at hotel

1100 hours – check out from hotel, drive to Varanasi airport/ railway station to connect with departure flight/ train.
